Frisco Summer Day Camp Programs

About Summer Frisco Fun Club

The Town of Frisco offers a summer Frisco Fun Club program that runs five days a week during the summer.

Frisco Fun Club is an exciting and adventurous way for your kids, ages 5-12, to spend their time off from school. Each week of Fun Club offers themed activities and educational opportunities. Kids who attend Fun Club spend the majority of their time outside, exploring Summit County, and participating in a combination of games, crafts, visitor presentations and weekly field trips. All kids are encouraged to bring a bike. Fun Club campers ride bikes as their primary form of transportation around Frisco. Campers are also required to wear sturdy shoes each day. Daily Fun Club activities include hiking, climbing on playgrounds, and running around. Fun Club is a great place for campers to socialize and make new friends.

About Frisco Summer Specialty Camps

The Town of Frisco also offers week long specialty camps during the summer:

2024/2025 Frisco After School and No-School Day Camp Programs

After School Fun Club

The Town of Frisco is excited to offer after school care for the 2023/2024 school year; After School Fun Club. After School Fun Club is a different program than Frisco Fun Club and will provide consistent childcare, running five days a week at Frisco Elementary School, after school. The program will mimic our summer Frisco Fun Club activities, including games, team building, crafts, sports, and more. We are excited to continue to work with The Frosted Flamingo for art activities, and the Frisco Historic Park for educational activities.

After School Skateboarding

We will also be offering after school skateboard programs at the Frisco Adventure Park, which will be open to kids ages 5-12. Our instructors will focus on body positioning, balance, and technique and will work on helping participants progress throughout the session. Participants should feel comfortable on a skateboard. Registration will open on August 7th, 2024 for this program.

After School Biking

The after school bike program at the Frisco Adventure Park is open to kids ages 5-12. Instructors will guide participants through the bike park and on the Frisco Adventure Park trails to focus on body positioning, balance, and technique as they progress throughout the session. Participants should feel comfortable on a bike with gears and hand brakes. Registration will open on August 7th, 2024 for this program.

Little Vikings

Little Vikings is a learn-to-cross country ski program presented by the Town of Frisco and Team Summit Nordic. The weekday program is open to youth ages 5-12 and offers two, four-week sessions that meet after school at the Frisco Nordic Center. This program is non-competitive and is open to all ability levels with a focus on learning to ski and developing good classic-skiing technique. Check back in October for more information about registration for the 24/25 winter season.

Zeke’s Shredders

Zeke loved FUN. Zeke was FUN! Growing up in Summit County Jon “Zeke” Zdechlik always found ways to play outdoors supported by an amazing mountain community. Sledding, skiing, Nordic, and ski jumping were all a part of his days. He even learned to snowboard as an adult, admitting he could have used a pillow to cushion all his falls. Zeke loved Summit County and kids and envisioned a program for them to enjoy snow sports and be mentored by adults. Zeke’s Shredders is a great opportunity for school-age kids to enjoy the mountains and thrive in a healthy community. Go Shredders! Check back in October for more information about registration for the 24/25 winter season.

Winter Vacation Sensation (No-School Day Camp)

Winter Vacation Sensation is a state-licensed day camp program that is open to youth ages 5-12. The camp offers themed activities that offer educational opportunities on the days that kids do not have school. Our instructors lead the participants through group activities, team building, arts and crafts, and often times include local field trips to playgrounds.

This fall we will offer No-School Day Camp on September 27th, October 31st and November 1st. Registration for these dates will open on August 7th, 2024 at 8 am.

Some alternatives to Frisco youth camps & programs

Our day programs and youth camps are in high demand and they fill up quickly. (We’re talking lightning-fast after registration opens, so plan ahead). However, if you can’t secure a spot in a youth camp or program, that doesn’t automatically sentence your kids to boredom.

With several parks located around town, an Adventure Park, Nordic Center, and a Marina, there are plenty of other opportunities for kid-friendly fun.

Also, check out our events calendar to see our upcoming kid-themed and family-friendly events.
