Come out and burn a few calories before celebrating with food, family and fun on Thanksgiving Day. The Turkey Day 5k presented by The Steadman Clinic and Steadman Philippon Research Institute is open to all ages and will take place on paved recreation path and Town of Frisco side streets.
Bring your friends and your skis (or snowshoes) to experience the magic of exploring the Frisco peninsula on candle-lit trails. Along the trails discover bonfires to warm up and enjoy snacks and drinks with friends. All proceeds benefit Summit Nordic Ski Club scholarships, programs, and athletes.
Gold Rush is the longest running Nordic event in Colorado, and consists of classic and skate races open to skiers of all ages and abilities. Gold Rush is where the past and present come together to celebrate our historical mining heritage and embrace our snowy Nordic culture.
The Frisco Freeze Fat Bike Race takes place on the trails at the Frisco Nordic Center. This is your one chance every winter to ride your fat bike on the Frisco Nordic trails. This fun course showcases amazing views of Buffalo Mountain and the Ten Mile Range.

Frisco BrewSkis is a beer festival on skis at the Frisco Nordic Center. Costumes, teamwork, and whacky photos are all encouraged! This happy hour ski tour which will feature beer tasting tents along the trail with beer from local breweries and prizes for the best costumes.

The Frisco Triathlon features stand-up-paddle boarding, mountain biking, and trail running. This twist on a triathlon is open to all ability levels and encourages athletes to take on a new multi-sport event. The Frisco Triathlon was named “Best Triathlon” in Elevation Outdoors Magazine’s reader poll, 2016 Best of the Rockies.
Run the Rockies trail 10k and half marathon will lead runners through the Frisco Peninsula trails with breathtaking views of Dillon Reservoir and the Ten Mile Range. This is a great course for a first time half-marathoner or runner looking for a fun course that offers single track and dirt road trails.
Run the Rockies 10k and half marathon road races have moved from June to September. The races will take place on paved recreation path and will showcase the beautiful fall colors and spectacular mountain views in Frisco.
Join us for the 9th Annual Girls on the Run 5k in Frisco. This celebratory, non-competitive event is the culminating experience of a 10 week program that is open to girls in 3rd through 5th grade. The race is also open to the public and offers a relatively flat course with spectacular views of the Dillon Reservoir, Buffalo Mountain, and Mount Royal.
