Bike to Work/Wherever Day is an annual countywide event that supports physical activity for all levels and abilities of cyclists in our community. Since 2014, Bike to Work Day has encouraged commuters in Summit to leave their car behind, helping them save money on their commutes, improve their health and lower stress levels — all while reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality.

The Frisco Duathlon is a change from the Frisco Triathlon for 2026 (due to low water levels) and will feature trail running and mountain biking. The Duathlon will take place on the Frisco Peninsula trails and is open to all ability levels.

Run the Rockies 10k and half marathon road races have moved from June to September. The races will take place on paved recreation path and will showcase the beautiful fall colors and spectacular mountain views in Frisco.
Join us for the 9th Annual Girls on the Run 5k in Frisco. This celebratory, non-competitive event is the culminating experience of a 10 week program that is open to girls in 3rd through 5th grade. The race is also open to the public and offers a relatively flat course with spectacular views of the Dillon Reservoir, Buffalo Mountain, and Mount Royal.
Come out and burn a few calories before celebrating with food, family and fun on Thanksgiving Day. The Turkey Day 5k presented by The Steadman Clinic and Steadman Philippon Research Institute is open to all ages and will take place on paved recreation path and Town of Frisco side streets.
