The Frisco Bay Marina is located on the shores of Dillon Reservoir at the eastern end of Main Street, where lake life meets quintessential mountain town. The Frisco Triathlon features stand-up-paddle boarding, mountain biking, and trail running. This twist on a triathlon is open to all ability levels and encourages athletes to take on a new multi-sport event. The Frisco Triathlon was named “Best Triathlon” in Elevation Outdoors Magazine’s reader poll, 2016 Best of the Rockies.
The Kids’ Sandcastle Competition will return this summer for a morning of creativity and fun on the beach at the Frisco Bay Marina for kiddos who are 12 and under. Event participation is free and each child will receive a free ice cream. Summit County avalanche rescue dogs will make a special appearance and will help judge the sandcastles. The event will happen rain or shine.
