Youth Programs

About Frisco Youth Programs

Our youth programs offer enriching and engaging before and after school activities to the children of Frisco. While geared toward residents, some of our programs are open to visiting kids depending on available space.

Youth programs we’ve offered in the past include after school skateboarding, biking, and art, and a before-school physical fitness program. Note that some of our youth programs are geared toward kids in elementary school and are available seasonally. Be sure to check this page for updates and new program openings throughout the year.

We also offer Kids’ Night Out events during winter months. Tubing, pizza, and a movie – all at the Frisco Adventure Park – need we say more?

During the winter months, the Little Vikings Nordic skiing program is a great excuse for kids to bundle up and get outside to learn some skiing basics. Led in partnership with our Nordic Ski Club, This program is held at the Frisco Nordic Center.

2024 Frisco After School Programs

After School Fun Club

After School Fun Club provides consistent childcare, running five days a week, after school, at Frisco Elementary School. The program mimics our summer Frisco Fun Club activities, including games, team building, crafts, sports, and more. We are excited to continue to work with The Frosted Flamingo for art activities, the Frisco Historic Park for educational activities, and Thrive Yoga Summit for yoga and mindfulness activities.

After School Skateboarding

We will also be offering after school skateboard programs at the Frisco Adventure Park, which will be open to kids ages 5-12. Our instructors will focus on body positioning, balance, and technique and will work on helping participants progress throughout the session. Participants should feel comfortable on a skateboard.

After School Biking

The after school bike program at the Frisco Adventure Park is open to kids ages 5-12. Instructors will guide participants through the bike park and on the Frisco Adventure Park trails to focus on body positioning, balance, and technique as they progress throughout the session. Participants should feel comfortable on a bike with gears and hand brakes.

Registration for Winter After School Fun Club (December – March) will open at 8:00am on Wednesday, November 6th.
