Gold Rush Nordic Races

52nd Annual Frisco Gold Rush

Back for 2023, join us for the 52nd Annual Frisco Gold Rush. Gold Rush is the longest running Nordic event in Colorado, and consists of classic and skate races open to skiers of all ages and abilities. Gold Rush is where the past and present come together to celebrate our historical mining heritage and embrace our snowy Nordic culture.

Community Bonfire and Fireworks

Gold Rush participants and their friends and family have a great reason to stick around Frisco after the races. The Frisco Gold Rush will be followed by Spontaneous Combustion, a community bonfire and fireworks display at the Frisco Bay Marina. The whole community is invited to the Marina lot at the corner of Summit Boulevard/Highway 9 and Marina Road at 6:00 pm on Saturday, February 11, to watch the bonfire and fireworks (at 8:00 pm) light up the Frisco sky. This is a free event, and snacks and beverages will be available for purchase to benefit Summit County Preschool.
