54th Annual Frisco Gold Rush

The tradition continues! Join us for the 54th Annual Frisco Gold Rush. Gold Rush is the longest running Nordic event in Colorado and consists of classic and skate ski races open to Nordic enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. Gold Rush is where the past and present come together to celebrate our historical mining heritage and embrace our snowy Nordic culture.

Community Bonfire and Fireworks

Gold Rush participants and their friends and family have a great reason to stick around Frisco after the races. The Frisco Gold Rush will be followed by Spontaneous Combustion, a community bonfire and fireworks display near the Frisco Bay Marina. The whole community is invited to the corner of Summit Boulevard/Main Street and Marina Road at 6:00pm on Saturday, February 8, 2025, to gather, swap stories and watch the bonfire and fireworks (that will start at approximately 8:00pm). This is a free event. Please be mindful of the noise should you opt to bring your furry companion. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase to benefit a local non-profit.
