Funduro Event Info
Frisco is excited to announce a brand new mountain bike (MTB) race hosted on the Frisco Peninsula Recreation Area trails on Saturday, June 8, 2024 for bikers aged 8-18- The Frisco Junior Funduro Presented by The Steadman Clinic and Steadman Philippon Research Institute.
After months of deliberation about what to add to Frisco’s athletic event schedule, we decided that what this community needs is an enduro mountain bike race, specifically for kiddos and teenagers. Let’s face it, kids these days are surpassing even their parents with their biking skills. Long gone are the days of kids repping rigid bikes with components designed for leisure strolls to the gas station to grab slurpees and taquitos.
Kids these days are pushing their limits farther and farther in the world of MTB and we are pumped to be a part of that progression.
What is the Frisco Junior Funduro?
Cue the Frisco Funduro, a MTB race targeting kids and teens ages 8-18 years old encompassing a dual slalom race and a three stage enduro featuring some of the gnarliest downhill trails that Summit County has to offer (yes, we’re talking Aftermath and Skypilot).
We invite you to be a part of this groundbreaking event and are beyond stoked to see you in June 2024 for our inaugural Frisco Junior Funduro presented by The Steadman Clinic and Steadman Philippon Research Institute!
