L.A.P.S. K94K Run + Walk

League for Animals & People of the Summit (L.A.P.S.) is bringing their 33rd annual Canine 4k to the streets of Frisco for a morning filled with dogs, a 4k fun run/walk, music, local exhibitors, door prizes, and more.

2023 Schedule

The 2024 schedule will be added closer to the event date.

  • 8:15am-9:00am: Day of Registration at the Frisco Historic Park
  • 9:15am: Fun run/walk begins on Main Street in front of the Frisco Historic Park

A single registration includes participation in the 4k fun run/walk, a custom t-shirt, plus paw painting, pup cups, door prize entry, and obstacle course fun. Additional merchandise available for purchase at the event.


  • Early Bird Adult Registration (before July 1, 2023) – $25 per adult
  • Adult Registration (July 1 – July 28, 2023) – $30 per adult
  • Youth Registration* – $15

Day of Registration

  • On July 29, 2023 – $35 per adult

*Youth registration (under 18 years old) is $15 regardless of when registration is completed.

What is L.A.P.S.?

Summit County, Colorado L.A.P.S. has been helping families and companion animals living in Blue River, Breckenridge, Dillon, Frisco, Heeney, Keystone, Montezuma, and Silverthorne since 1990.

L.A.P.S. is the area’s primary charity working to reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs and to benefit the general welfare of companion animals and families in need of financial assistance with veterinary bills. L.A.P.S. does not have any paid staff members, just a very dedicated group of volunteers. Please email with donations, questions, concerns, or to volunteer.
