League for Animals & People of the Summit (L.A.P.S.) is bringing their 31st annual Canine 4k to the streets of Frisco for a day filled with dogs, a fun run/walk, dog contests and obstacle course, door prizes, a great silent auction, paw painting, pupachinos, and live music with local musician Randall McKinnon.

There will be a Mountain Mutt Contest following the race, starting at 10:00am, with the following categories:
- Oldest and Youngest Dog
- Biggest and Smallest Dog
- Best Dressed
- Best Singer
- Best Dancer
- Pet/Owner Look Alike
Silent Auction
There will be a silent auction so don’t forget to bring cash or a check to bid for dinners at local restaurants, pet items and lots of gift certificates for services and more. 100% of the proceeds from the silent auction directly benefit pets in need in Summit County.
What is L.A.P.S.?
Summit County, Colorado L.A.P.S. has been helping families and companion animals living in Blue River, Breckenridge, Dillon, Frisco, Heeney, Keystone, Montezuma, and Silverthorne since 1990.
L.A.P.S. is the area’s primary charity working to reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs and to benefit the general welfare of companion animals and families in need of financial assistance with veterinary bills.
