Snowshoeing at the Nordic Center

Snowshoeing at the Frisco Nordic Center

Both snowshoe trails are open with early season conditions/thin cover in areas. Please use caution.

When you visit the Frisco Nordic Center, you will be surrounded by snowy peaks in every direction and the quiet of the trail. The Frisco Nordic Center offers beautiful trails and snowshoe rentals seven days a week. The Frisco Nordic Center is just steps from the Frisco Adventure Parks’ tubing hill and beginner ski/ride hill.

If you are interested in learning more about topics like local history, mountains, and flora/fauna we invite you to enjoy a self-guided snowshoe tour. The Chickadee Snowshoe Trail has eight interpretive signs placed along the route.

Snowshoe Renters: Please wear mid-weight or winter-weight boots that are at least above the ankle in height. Snowshoers should be prepared for winter conditions and dress in layers to keep comfortable. Hats and warm gloves/mittens are a must!
