Run the Rockies Trail Running Race

Run the Rockies Trail 10k & Half Marathon

Saturday, August 8, 2020

COVID19 Update:  we continue to monitor regulations and recommendations regarding group gatherings during these unprecedented times.  The health and safety of our race participants, staff, volunteers, and the Frisco community is our top priority. Our team remains optimistic and we are committed to making the best decision regarding the Run the Rockies Trail Half Marathon and 10k.  We will make a decision by July 3, 2020 regarding the status of the race.  We will offer a full refund if we cancel the event.  If we postpone the event, we will allow you to transfer your race entry.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Linsey Joyce.

The Run the Rockies Trail 10k and Half Marathon will lead runners through the Frisco Peninsula trails with breathtaking views of Lake Dillon and the Ten Mile Range. This is a great course for a first time half-marathoner or runner looking for a fun course that offers single track and dirt road trails.  Racers will start and finish at the Frisco Day Lodge; all racers will receive a piece of commemorative race gear and a post-race meal.

Registration for the 2020 Run the Rockies races will open at 8:00am on January 8, 2020.  Race registration includes:  a tech tee, well marked course, fully stocked aid stations, post-race food and drinks and a finisher gift.

*New in 2020, in an effort to cut down on the amount of extra t-shirts we have after the race, you will be able to select whether or not you’d like a race t-shirt when you register.  There will be a $15 additional fee if you choose to get a race t-shirt.  T-shirt sizes are only guaranteed if you register by July 16, 2020.
