Frisco is excited to announce a brand new mountain bike (MTB) race hosted on the Frisco Peninsula Recreation Area trails on Saturday, June 8, 2024. This race is for kids ages 8-14 years old and encompasses a dual slalom race and a three stage enduro.
The Mountain Goat Kids’ Trail Running Series features four kids trail running races throughout the summer. Each race date offers several different distances so can kiddos can choose whatever distance they are most comfortable with. This twist on a triathlon is open to all ability levels and encourages athletes to take on a new multi-sport event. Run the Rockies trail 10k and half marathon will lead runners through the Frisco Peninsula trails with breathtaking views of Dillon Reservoir and the Ten Mile Range. This is a great course for a first time half-marathoner or runner looking for a fun course that offers single track and dirt road trails.
Run the Rockies 10k and half marathon road races have moved from June to September. The races will take place on paved recreation path and will showcase the beautiful fall colors and spectacular mountain views in Frisco.
