Sledding Hill Update

Conditions at the sledding hill as of 12/21/2025: firm, packed snow and ice. Very slippery and bumpy. Lots of exposed dirt. Use caution if sledding on an inflatable or thin plastic sled.

Free Sledding at the Frisco Adventure Park

The Frisco Adventure Park not only has a great lift-accessed tubing hill, but just a few steps away, there is also a traditional sledding hill and it’s 100% free! Bring your own sled and some energetic kids who want to run uphill and be ready to watch the snow fly. Unfortunately, the Adventure Park does NOT sell or rent sleds, so please make sure to bring your own sled(s) with you before you arrive.

The sledding hill is a free public area – use at your own risk.

Getting to the Traditional Sledding Hill at the Frisco Adventure Park

The Frisco Adventure Park is located between Frisco and Breckenridge on Highway 9. From Main Street Frisco, follow Highway 9 southbound for 1 mile, turn left onto Recreation Way (at the traffic light). Please go to the Colorado Department of Transportation’s website to find out more about current road conditions.

Park at the Frisco Nordic Center located at the Frisco Adventure Park at 616 Recreation Way and look for a sign that says “walkway to sledding hill.” The Sledding Hill is right behind a white trailer and there is a red flag, indicating the Sledding Hill. The sledding area is open every day from 9:00am – dusk.
