Fishing in Dillon Reservoir

Dillon Reservoir provides good fishing for rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout, kokanee salmon, and arctic char.

2026 Fishing Pole Rental Rates – Casting Style Closed Barrel

  • 2 hours – $20
  • 3 hours – $22
  • All day- $25 (return by rental office closing)
  • Overnight- $50
  • Rental includes: 1 bobber, 2 hooks, and 2 sinkers, nail clippers, and forceps (more fishing gear is available for sale in our retail stores)

*Price includes 8.375% sales tax.

Bait and licenses are available at the Marina Office. Colorado Law requires a fishing license for anyone 16 years old or older. If you would like to purchase online, please visit the Colorado Parks and Wildlife website. Please leave extra time before your reservation if you need to purchase a fishing license at the Marina.

The public boat ramp at Frisco Bay Marina is closed this summer, but boat rentals and tours are still available.
