About the Frisco Railpark
The Frisco Adventure Park has a new terrain park, the Frisco Railpark, where snowboarders and skiers have the opportunity to practice and progress on features that they can quickly lap, using the state’s first mobile rope tow. For the 2025/2026 season, the terrain park will have approximately 15 features, which are available via rope tow, including boxes, rails and snow features which will be adjusted every few weeks to provide variety and will progress from small to large. The terrain park is regularly maintained by the Frisco Adventure Park’s operations professionals – a ticket or a season pass is required to access. Helmets are highly encouraged!

If you want to film at the Frisco Terrain Park for some purpose beyond your own personal photo or video needs, then you will need to fill out a Town of Frisco video and photo shoot permit application for commercial use of Town property. Commercial means that you are using your shoot to promote a brand, which can include a person, product, or film production company.
The permit application is quick and simple and will ensure that we can meet your expectations.
Please apply for the video and photo shoot permit at two (2) weeks before your shoot to allow us time to review and assess if we are able to provide the requested resources. Obviously, the more time and accurate dates, locations, and details that you give us, the more thoughtful the review and collaboration can be.
Drones
The video and photography permit application includes a section about drones and how to get approval for drone usage at the Frisco Terrain Park. Please note that only commercial drone uses will be approved, as hobbyist/personal drones are not permitted to be used on Town of Frisco property.
The Frisco Adventure Park encourages all skiers and riders to know and follow the National Ski Areas Association and Burton Snowboards’ “Park Smart” Terrain Park Safety initiative.
