Kayak Park

Frisco Kayak Park

Located on the west end of Frisco’s Main Street at the overnight parking lot, the Kayak Park on Ten Mile Creek is a Class 3 creek section with a man-made water feature.

Kayakers can practice their freestyle maneuvers while surfing in the feature during the run-off months, typically May through July. The park is free for the public to use or to just watch the action.

Reservations are not available for the Kayak Park.

Kayaking Ten Mile Creek

For the more advanced enthusiasts, there are Class 4 and 5 sections above the Frisco Kayak Park which will put your whitewater running skills to the test.

Other kayaking and rafting options near Frisco include the Upper and Lower Blue River, Eagle River, Clear Creek, and the Colorado River. All are just a short drive away.

A Word of Caution

Running most rivers and creeks in Colorado requires whitewater experience, the appropriate watercraft, and safety equipment such as helmets and personal flotation devices, and the Frisco Kayak Park is no exception – come prepared.
