Summit 50+ Winter Games

Back this year- the 50+ Winter Games presented by Summit 50+ (formerly Summit Seniors) will include a downhill/alpine ski day at Keystone Resort on Sunday, February 8, 2026, Uphill and Ice Events at Keystone Resort on Monday, February 9, 2026, and a Nordic day at Frisco Nordic Center on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. These competitive sporting events are for people who are ages 50 and above.

All events are relaxed and fun with as much competitive spirit as you want to bring.

Downhill/Alpine Ski Day on Sunday, February 8, 2026

Alpine events include a GS race, rally race, and obstacle course at Keystone Resort.

  • 8:30am – Check-in at the Mountain House at the base of Peru Lift to sign a waiver and receive your bib
  • 10:00am – 11:15am- GS Race at Keystone Resort on Flying Dutchman
  • 11:15am – 12:00pm- Rally Race on Flying Dutchman

Uphill and Ice Events on Monday, February 9, 2026

Uphill and ice events include a skimo-style uphill race, a hockey shoot, and a skate oval race at Keystone Resort.

  • 7:00am – 8:15am- Uphill Race to begin at the River Run Bridge at the gondola base (6:30am check-in)
  • 11:00am – 12:00pm- Hockey Shoot at Keystone Lake
  • 3:00pm – 5:00pm- Ice Skating Speed Oval Race at Keystone Lake

Nordic Events at the Frisco Nordic Center on Tuesday, February 10, 2026

Nordic events include skate and classic ski races, a snowshoe race, and a biathlon.

  • 8:30am- Participants arrive to check in, receive bibs and warm up
  • 9:20am- 10k skate ski race start
  • 9:25am- 10k classic ski race start
  • 9:30am- 2.5k skate and classic ski races start
  • 9:30am – 12:00pm- Biathlon classic
  • 10:55am- 2k snowshoe race start
  • 11:00am- 5k skate ski race start
  • 11:05am- 5k classic ski race start

Membership to Participate

You must be a member of Summit 50+ to participate in the Games. If you are not a member, then please join before registering for the Games.

Join Summit 50+

Event Registration

  • Event registration fees:
    • $30 single registration fee to compete in as many events as you would like, which includes lunch during the awards ceremony on Tuesday, February 10
  • Keystone will provide $64 discount tickets for participants who may not have a lift ticket or season pass for the alpine events.
  • Skating on the Keystone Lake ice is FREE for age 65+ and $15 for under age 65.
  • There is no charge or pass required for the uphill race at Keystone
  • A pass is not required to participate in the Nordic events at the Frisco Nordic Center, as the Town of Frisco donates the use of the Frisco Nordic Center for the 50+ Winter Games.
