Park After Dark Series

Park After Dark Series

Join us for a new community event series this fall! The Park After Dark series provides fun, free experiences for all ages with a mix of education, entertainment, and history.

September 16, 2023, 8:00pm- 9:30pm- Star Gazing with Astro Mark

Learn about the night sky and how to navigate the stars with Astro Mark during a new moon. Identify constellations while learning their history and mythology on walking laser-guided tours, and explore the Summit County sky with free telescopes at the Historic Park Gazebo.

The walking laser-guided tour lasts 30 minutes and is free! Advanced registration for the 8:00pm tour is recommended to ensure your spot. The 8:30pm tour and 9:00pm tour will be first-come, first-serve. The free telescopes at the Historic Park do not require a reservation.

September 30, 2023, 6:30pm-9:30pm- Silent Disco

When the Old Town Hall first opened, the celebration in its honor made the newspaper’s front page the next morning. During its lifetime, the Old Town Hall would continue to hold many dances for the local community. Join us on September 30, 2023, to celebrate the official end of summer and welcome the fall to Frisco with a modern-day dance: A Silent Disco. This event is free, and no RSVP is required! Just bring your dancing shoes!

What is a Silent Disco?

A Silent Disco is a dance that uses wireless headphones rather than speakers. There will be a DJ providing multiple channels to choose between. It’s a fun dance that does not disturb our neighbors!

A big thank you to Alpine Bank for sponsoring the 2023 Park After Dark series.
