Mystery at the Museum
The year is 1880. George Robinson, beloved local mine superintendent, grocery store owner, and Colorado lieutenant governor elect has been fatally shot outside of his own mine in the Tenmile Canyon! The question now going around town is who shot him and why? Was it an accident or premeditated? Was it one of the men he was with or someone else entirely? Only you can help us find “whodunnit”!
Join the Frisco Historic Park & Museum at the Schoolhouse Museum on Saturday, October 03, for a clue-styled mystery party. Through a series of interactions with historic characters, clues, and puzzles, you will have the opportunity to solve this real Summit County mystery. After you’ve completed the game, submit your answer to enter a drawing to win prizes from local businesses!
Details
Doors open at 2:00pm, with the last players sent out at 5:30pm. The game should take around 60 minutes to solve.
This year’s mystery is recommended for ages eight and up due to implied violence and difficulty.
This event is completely free, all you need is your thinking cap and a jacket! This mystery will take you through the historic buildings, but not all of them are heated.
After players have completed the game, they should submit their answer to enter into a drawing to win prizes from local businesses. The answer to the mystery will be announced during the prize drawing at 6:15 pm in the Gazebo. Winners must be present to claim their prize, and your answer does not have to be correct to be entered into the drawing.
Prizes will be announced closer to the event date.
