Frisco History Day, formerly called Frisco Founder’s Day, returns on July 9, 2022, with games, music, crafts, food, and entertainment for the whole family!
Frisco History Day celebrates the past, present, and future of Frisco with a picnic in the park, and will feature free burro rides for kids, an old-timey photo booth, gold panning, an arts and craft tent, touchable artifacts, and live music.

Explore the Historic Park with our kid’s Passport to History program to win a prize. Visit our gold panning station, play some lawn games, and take home a souvenir old-timey photograph.
This year we are bringing back burro rides for kids and an arts and crafts tent with on-site projects and two take-home crafts from Frosted Flamingo!
Don’t forget to stop by our Frisco History Tent to learn more about mining and the mines of Frisco. This is one place you can touch everything!

Live music with Dustbowl Daughters
The Dustbowl Daughters is a four-piece, women-powered string band born out of the Colorado Front Range bluegrass jam scene amid a pandemic. All four members write lyrically focused songs that tell stories of resilience, joy, nostalgia, and mystery. With tight harmonies, and a feisty playfulness, the Daughters take elements of both traditional and contemporary Americana music and blend it into something that is uniquely feminine and heartfelt.
