Frisco Free Repair Fair

Don’t throw out your old outdoor gear! Frisco is excited to host the third Gear Repair Fair to get your broken outdoor equipment out of storage and back in use, plus prepare your winter gear for storage until next season.

Free outdoor equipment repair – Town of Frisco staff will be on site to patch holes and repair minor tears in outdoor equipment such as coats, tents, and backpacks. Town staff will also be sharpening machetes, hatchets, axes and more.

mountainFLOW eco-wax will be providing storage wax for skis and snowboards.

Rebel Sports will have a bike mechanic on site for any simple bike repairs.

A resole drop-off will be available for climbing and approach shoes. The Green Team will cover the shipping cost to Rock and Resole, but there will be a resoling fee for anyone who would like to have their gear repaired.

High Rhodes Records will be offering free instrument restringing at their store located at 285 E Main Street in Frisco. Stop by anytime with your own strings and High Rhodes Records will assist with restringing.

There will be free non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. Stop by, say hello, and get that coat, tent, backpack, and more functioning again or prepare your gear for storage!

What to Bring

One (clean) piece of equipment for repair or to prepare for summer storage.
