Course Maps
Racers will start in waves. Wave one of the half marathon will start at 8:00 am, and wave one of the 10k will start at 8:30 am. Waves will be released every three minutes for both races. Runners will receive wave assignments in a pre-race email on Friday, August 11, 2023. Runners must start in their assigned wave, or they will be disqualified. Races will be chip-timed, and Maverick Sports will provide professional timing services. Anyone who would like to walk the race is highly encouraged to register for the 10k to better ensure that they can make the cutoff time of 11:30 am. Course maps are available at RuntheRockies.com.
Awards
All racers will receive a commemorative finisher item. Awards will go out to top three overall male and female finishers, as well as male and female age group winners. The age group categories are as follows: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus.
Post Race Party
Runners are invited to stick around after they’ve crossed the finish line to enjoy a cold beer, if 21 and older, pancakes from Chris Cakes, and music on the lawn near the Frisco Nordic Center.
