Frisco Hosts Free Concert on the Water to Kickoff Summer

The Town of Frisco is excited to announce the return of the summer kick off concert which will be at the Frisco Bay Marina this year and is now part of the Marina’s Rock the Dock festivities. On Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 4:00pm – 8:00pm enjoy a free concert with Vincent Antone, followed by SunSquabi on the Frisco Bay Marina Lighthouse Lawn. The Island Grill will be offering lunch and drink specials throughout the day prior to the concert. Power boat and paddle sport rentals will also be available, along with free lawn games for the community to enjoy. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and well-behaved, leashed pets.

Vincent Antone

4:15pm – 5:30pm

Vincent Antone is an American producer and recording artist based in Austin, Texas. He is a multi-instrumentalist; playing guitar for over 20 years, drums for 15 years, and piano and bass for 10 years. He has produced music for more than eight years and has found a passion for combining elements of dance music with a variety of genres. His style runs from future funk, Hip Hop, future bass, house, trap, and everything in between. During live performances, Vince plays guitar and keys, while he is joined by powerhouse drummer Jose Gutierrez.

SunSquabi

6:15pm – 7:45pm

A three-piece Colorado based band, SunSquabi, has been catching the eyes and ears of music fans around the world with their ever-evolving sound in the studio and during live shows. SunSquabi has gained national attention for their unique way of producing music. The band’s live show has been described as an ‘Electronic Hydro Funk Experience’ that is different every single time out. SunSquabi continues to break down and analyze the expectations of what a “Live-Electronic” band should be.

Parking

Limited parking is available at the Marina parking lot on a first-come, first-served basis and is free after 5:00 pm. Additional parking is available on Frisco’s Main Street and adjacent side streets and avenues. Biking, walking, and taking the Summit Stage are highly encouraged.

Frisco Bay Marina

Located on the shores of Dillon Reservoir at the eastern end of Frisco Main Street, the Frisco Bay Marina is where lake life meets quintessential mountain town. At just over 9,000 feet in elevation, this certified clean marina is an ideal access point to Dillon Reservoir. The Frisco Bay Marina rents pontoon and fishing boats, kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddle boards, and fishing poles from late May through the end of September. The Marina also boasts a 400-foot sandy beach, boat tours, sailing lessons, kayak tours, a water taxi service between Frisco and Dillon, a rowing club, and dining at the Island Grill.
