About the Frisco Arts and Culture Council
In January 2023, Frisco Town Council approved the Frisco Five-Year Arts and Culture Strategic Plan, which recommended the creation of a Frisco Arts and Culture Council (FACC). Subsequently, in early summer 2023, seven community members were appointed to the Frisco Arts and Culture Council. The FACC has taken on numerous projects in less than a year, including a robust mural program, stipends for creative July 4th floats, and Arts Pop-Up events around music and ice art. Future events will include a free community movie night at the Frisco Bay Marina in late August 2024 and a mural commissioned for the pedestrian tunnel under Highway 9 at the Frisco Adventure Park. More information about the FACC may be found at ArtsFrisco.com.
