Team Summit and Frisco Adventure Park Hosting 10th Annual Bubble Gum Race Series

The Frisco Adventure Park will be hosting the 10th Annual Bubble Gum Race Series on six Wednesdays in February and March at the beginner ski and snowboard hill which is next to the Frisco Adventure Park tubing hill and serviced by the same surface lift. From the “never-ever” to seasoned racer, all levels of young skiers and snowboarders are encouraged to compete in this free race series made possible through a partnership with Team Summit.

These fun, non-competitive community races provide an opportunity for kids to try out racing in a casual environment. Participants will have the chance to race multiple times over the course of one hour, and the races will not be timed. Instead, participants will be given three pieces of bubble gum, which will act as their “ticket” to race. Racers will give it to the person at the start of the course to race, and if they win, they will get a piece of bubble gum.

“This is the perfect opportunity for some friendly competition for kids, in a very laid-back atmosphere. The Adventure Park beginner ski and ride hill is super mellow, the parking is free, and the Day Lodge is a cozy place to hang out with friends and family before and after these free races,” stated Erin Socks, General Manager of the Frisco Adventure Park.
