Frisco Youth Camps & Programs Scholarship Information
The Town of Frisco is proud to offer a scholarship for our after school and full day Fun Club and specialty youth programs. Individuals may use the form on this page to apply for a scholarship which may cover part of these programs’ fees.
Purpose
The purpose of the scholarship program is to help families pay for camps to ensure their children have a safe, fun, place to be during the day and afterschool.
Qualifiers
Families must show proof of their participation in any needs based assistance programs provided by the federal or state government to qualify for the Frisco Programs Scholarship including:
- Free and Reduced Lunch Program
- Federal Food Stamps (SNAP/EBT)
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Social Security Disability (SSD)
- WIC
- Section 8 Housing or Public Housing
- Medicaid or Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+)
- Foster Care
- Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
- Medicare Savings Program
- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
- Other need-based assistance programs
Application Information
- Applications must be submitted at least one week before program registration closes.
- Scholarships are not retroactive.
- Programs fill quickly and scholarship approval does not guarantee a spot in the program. Registration for programs is first come, first served.
- Once a scholarship is awarded, applicants will receive an email from staff explaining the next steps.
- The scholarship program is subject to change and may be discontinued at any time.
Due Dates
- School year application – due Monday, July 27, 2026
- Summer application – due Wednesday, March 5, 2027
- *We may accept applications on a rolling basis. Please note that scholarships will be distributed based on available funds
How to Apply
Please complete the scholarship form on this page. You will be contacted regarding whether you will receive the scholarship. A form must be completed for the school year and another form the summer season.
How Scholarship Funds Are Distributed
Once a scholarship is awarded, the money will go onto the families account on Webtrac. The family will then have access to the money at registration and can decide how much they want to use. Once their money is gone, they will not be awarded more.
