Nordic Ski Clinics

The Frisco Nordic Center offers classic ski clinics (beginner), skate ski clinics (beginner and intermediate) and next step skate ski clinics (intermediate and advanced) with women’s only and co-ed options for both.

NEW! 2026 Co-Ed Beginner Classic Ski Clinic

Co-ed Beginner Classic Ski Clinics are a great way to develop skills and meet other people who are interested in learning and skiing together. Join our local instructors as they teach the fundamental techniques of classic Nordic skiing. Techniques covered will include: diagonal stride, double poling, kick double pole, hill climbing and descending, and adjusting techniques to ski to the terrain.

Participants must have good balance and be physically fit. This clinic is designed for beginner to advanced-beginner Nordic skiers.

The clinic will meet four times over the course of a little over a month, with 2 hours of instruction each day. 2 instructors per clinic (depending on enrollment), max 15 participants. (At least 3 participants are required for the clinic to run.)

There is no discount provided for missed sessions. If you are unable to make all four days please consider taking private lessons instead as instruction is progressive throughout the clinic.

Rental equipment is included in the registration fee. Trail passes are included in the clinic fee for non-season pass holders and a corresponding discount is reflected in the season pass holder clinic pricing.

Refund policy:  In order to receive a full refund, you must cancel at least seven days from the start of your clinic.  Any cancellations made after that time will not receive a refund.
