BOKS Kids Before School Program
BOKS (Build Our Kids’ Success), an initiative of the Reebok Foundation, is a before-school physical activity program aimed to get children moving in the morning and their brains ready for a day of learning. Our curriculum provides a day to day lesson plan to get kids moving for 40-45 minutes before the school day two times a week. All BOKS classes focus on a functional fitness skill of the week (ex. squat, push up, plank) and follow the same format including team-orientated games. The lesson ends with a short nutritional talk to provide kids with the tools to make smart, healthy food choices. The Frisco Recreation and Cultural Department is excited to team up with Frisco Elementary for a program in Summit County! For more information about BOKS, visit their website at www.bokskids.org.
