Surrounded by Ten Mile Creek on one side and a wetland on the other, Walter Byron is a quintessential neighborhood park in an idyllic Frisco setting. Our newly updated and expanded playground is a big hit with kids who love to climb, slide, and swing.

Pro tip: There are public restrooms at the park, but there’s limited parking. However, this park is walkable from Main Street via the Rec Path.

Meadow Creek Park

Located near the commercial gateway part of town behind Walmart, Meadow Creek Park has a small tot playground for kids ages 2-12. There’s also a fishing pond that becomes an ice skating rink in winter and the mountain views from the park are spectacular.

Here in Frisco we are confident enough to know that we don’t have the ultimate solution for every traveler’s needs, and we’re happy to share great resources that exist elsewhere. Check out Rainbow Park in Silverthorne and the new River Park in Breckenridge.

Honorable Mention: The Frisco Fun Ground at Frisco Elementary (800 8th Avenue, Frisco, CO 80443) is popular with local parents and kids alike.
