Colorado BBQ Challenge

Father's Day Essay Contest

Dads hold a special place in our hearts because the Colorado BBQ Challenge is held on Father’s Day weekend each year, and 2017 is no different- BBQ is on Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June, 17 with a kick-off concert on Thursday, June 15, 2017. The Colorado BBQ Challenge serves as a perfect getaway to show dads that we know he wants more than a new tie. Instead, he could be enjoying great BBQ, tickets to the Rub It, Smoke It, Sip It Whiskey Tour and of course, tons of family fun up and down Frisco’s Main Street.

Each year, the Town of Frisco asks kids (16 and younger only) to submit a short essay describing how much dad means to you. If your essay is chosen as the winner, you will win some serious BBQ goodies: a two (2) night stay in a 2-bedroom condo over BBQ weekend courtesy of Mountain Managers, two tickets to the Whiskey Tour, $100 in Hogbacks and some Frisco BBQ shwag!

Essays must be a maximum of 600 words. All essays must be submitted by midnight on Friday, May 5, 2017.
