Join us the day after St. Patrick’s Day for a lecture by National Mining Hall of Fame curator, Myles Gallagher, who will be discussing the relationship between Irish pioneers and mountain towns, with a focus on Summit County and Leadville. Learn about culture, living conditions, migration and mining industry as it applies to the earliest Irish settlers of the Continental Divide. Step back into the past and view the imprint that these spirited settlers left here. While also learning about how we keep Irish mining history alive today.
This event is free and open to the public.
