Lunchtime Lecture: Meet Martha Maxwell

Aug 26, 2020 12:00pm

Storyteller, Linda Batlin, presents the story of Colorado’s first taxidermist, Martha Maxwell. Nicknamed the “Colorado Huntress” – Maxwell was a pioneer naturalist that took her love of animals, art, and nature to a new level with her unique taxidermy displays.

Join Batlin at the Frisco Historic Park & Museum’s Gazebo on August 26 at 12pm for this lively one-woman presentation featuring period costumes and theatrics that bring Maxwell’s story to life.
