Dog celebrating 4th of July in Frisco

If you are looking for an Independence Day in a quintessential and mellow small mountain town, then Frisco will fit the bill. With big town amenities and amazing outdoor opportunities, yet a friendly, small-town feel, Frisco is the ideal place to make memories during this “new normal”.

An Old Fashioned Day With Friends and Family

The focus for Frisco’s 2020 Fabulous 4th of July will be on spending the day celebrating in a simpler, small-town way with friends and family. This means backyard BBQs, hikes with family, fishing, getting on the Dillon Reservoir, toasting our independence at local restaurants, strolling Frisco’s Pedestrian Promenade on Main Street, trying your hand at disc golf on our free course, going on a chuck wagon dinner ride, taking a bike ride on over 55 miles of recreation path or on miles of singletrack dirt trails, challenging yourself at our free bike park, and creating unique 4th of July memories by focusing on what you have and can experience…

Back in 2021

Summit Public Health Orders allow for gatherings of 175 people or less currently to slow the spread of COVID-19.┬áThis means that this year’s 4th of July must look a lot different in order to abide by public health orders and keep us all healthy. The following traditional Frisco July 4th festivities cannot happen in 2020 but will return in 2021:

  • Pancake Breakfast
  • Parade
  • Fishing Derby
  • Street Party
  • Three Concerts

Be well and above all, enjoy and celebrate your family, friends, and our remarkable country.

Fireworks

There will be no 4th of July fireworks.
