For the 2nd year, The Family Adventure Quest is coming to Copper Mountain over Fourth of July weekend. The event will offer families a chance to experience an adventure course like no other with zip lines, mud pits, slacklines, cargo nets, trekking, biking and a variety of other unique challenges in the Village at Copper and on Copper Mountain. Families will have a chance to work together on building confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship, environmental awareness and FUN for an unforgettable family experience!

Entry Fee:

Take advantage of a $50 discount for registering more than 1 team per sign up. Teams need to register at the same time in order for the discount to apply.

  • $150 per team until June 15, 2017
  • $180 per team starting June 16, 2017

Event Details:

Please note, this is The Family Adventure Quest so teams may NOT be comprised of just two kids.

Competitive teams are made up of a child 6 – 14, and a family member or friend, 16 or over. The age group in the competitive waves are determined by the age of the child. There are two waves that are competitive: Wave 1 and Wave 2. They will be timed.

The Fun Quest, not timed and no ranking will be announced. Those participating in the non-competitive “fun run” will be participating for fun, spirit, comradery, teamwork and more. Teams in the Fun Quest can be comprised of one adult and one child, one adult and two children or two adults. Although the non-competitive race will be timed: awards are not given out, all teams are encouraged to see how they compare with the earlier competitive race and all teams will be entered into a cool drawing with SWAG from our partners

Long Course- Approximately 14 obstacles, 1 -1.5 hrs, 3.5 miles long

Sunday, July 2, 2017

Short Course- Approximately 12 Obstacles, 1 -1.5 hrs long, 3 miles

  • Age Group 6-7
  • Age Group 8-9
  • OPEN: Mixed Ages where the youngest member is at least 3 years apart from the oldest.
