Get your history with a side of the great outdoors! This summer we are walking, hiking, and biking our way to Frisco’s history with new stories, images, and activities. One of our newest offerings, Trails to History takes you around the Peninsula Recreation Area (PRA for short) with a trained Museum staff member to soak up some nature and learn more about Frisco’s history.
Advance registration and payment are required. Ticket details are below.
About the Tour
Learn about animals, plants, the Ute Peoples-Colorado’s longest inhabitants, the beginnings of Frisco, and the more recent history of the PRA- including the stories behind the unique trail names! This tour is a cross between our traditional walking tour and our more adventurous hike up Mount Royal. You can expect multiple stops and plenty of picturesque Rocky Mountain views on this hour-long hike.
