In partnership with Boardslide Magazine, The Tripe Threat Throwdown – A Friday Night Under the Lights event is happening at the Frisco Railpark on Friday, January 30 from 4:00pm-8:00pm. This is a community driven, family friendly event where riders, snowboard enthusiasts, and spectators alike can come together to celebrate each other and see what the new Frisco Railpark is all about.

Open Community Jam

Things will kick off from 4:00pm to 5:30pm with an open community jam. This segment of the event is intended for all ages and skills levels. From new rope tow-ers to local legends, riders will collectively ride together and enjoy the camaraderie in our community.

The Triple Threat Throwdown

From 4:00pm to 5:30pm, things will kick off with an open community jam. This part of the event is intended for all ages and skill levels. From new rope towers to local legends, riders will ride together and enjoy the camaraderie of being in this community.
From 5:30pm to 6:00pm, riders will register in teams of three for the main event. The main event is intended for experienced riders only.
From 6:00pm to 7:30pm, the Triple Threat Throwdown will take place. Snowboarders in teams of three will go head-to-head in the ultimate throw down under the lights, competing for the grand prize of $2,000. The best team takes all.
From 7:30pm – 8:00pm, there will be awards, and the winning team will be crowned.

Event Registration & Frisco Railpark Access

Registration for the open jam and main event is free, but a Frisco Railpark day ticket or season pass is required to register. The Frisco Railpark is offering discounted day tickets for the event from 4:00pm – 6:00pm for those without a season pass. For Railpark access from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, tickets are $20 for Frisco residents, with proof of residency required, and $30 for non-residents. Night tickets may be purchased in person at Frisco Adventure Park Day Lodge Ticket Office until 6:00pm only or online anytime at FriscoTerrainPark.com.

If you purchase tickets online after 6:00pm, then when you arrive at the Railpark you will need to present a receipt to Railpark staff and verify that you completed a waiver. You will then be provided with a ticket.

Schedule

3:30pm: Open jam registration
4:00pm-5:30pm: Open jam – for all ages and skill levels
5:30pm-6:00pm: Main event registration – boarders will register in teams of three. Experienced riders only.
6:00pm-7:30pm: Main event – the Triple Threat Throwdown
7:30pm-8:00pm: Awards
