2024 Wassail Days Commemorative Mug

Each year the commemorative mug features an iconic Frisco scene. This year’s mug features an original design from Summit County-based artist Player Haynes, a graphic artist and owner of Player Haynes Design. His work spans many platforms, including logos, websites, beer can and poster illustrations. We believe his design this year truly reflects the imagery of winter in Frisco and the celebration of Wassail Days.

Free Holiday Gift Wrapping

Wassail Days is a great time to get your holiday shopping done. Free holiday gift wrapping is available for gifts purchased from Frisco businesses. Bring gifts purchased in Frisco (with receipts) to the Frisco/Copper Visitor Information Center at the corner of 1st Avenue & Main Street.

• The Frisco/Copper Visitor Information Center is open seven days a week
• Free gift wrapping is available through Friday, December 20, 2024
• Oversized gifts (golf clubs, televisions, skis, etc.) are excluded from free gift wrapping
• Staff will try to wrap gifts within 30 minutes, but if it is busy you may need to leave the gift and come back later to pick it up

What else can you do during Frisco Wassail Days?

Frisco’s events throughout the week encourage some good clean holiday fun with a dose of magic and wackiness. Some of the highlights include free wassail sampling at local businesses, a tree lighting with fireworks on Main Street, Santa visits at the Frisco Historic Park, and breakfast with Santa. We hope you’ll find your own piece of mountain magic in Frisco during Wassail Days.

Saturday, November 30 – Sunday, December 8, 2024

Wassail Sampling – Taste different versions of wassail (hot spiced cider) at 50+ Frisco businesses. Bring your own reusable mug for sampling. Fill your “12 Sips of Wassail Card” and bring it in to the Frisco/Copper Information Center for a free, commemorative Frisco Wassail Days mug while supplies last!

Saturday, November 30, 2024

Small Business Saturday – Start your Wassail days celebration on Small Business Saturday and shop local at businesses on Main Street and in the Summit Boulevard area and grab a bite to eat at one of Frisco’s many great dining establishments.

5:45pm – 7:00pm
Carolers on Main Street – Carolers will begin at Frisco Historic Park for the tree lighting ceremony and then make their way up and down Main Street filling the town with good cheer and holiday music.

6:00pm – Tree Lighting followed immediately by Fireworks
Frisco Tree Lighting and Fireworks at the Frisco Historic Park – A special guest will join us, as we will illuminate the town tree and have fireworks immediately after the lighting. Sing along with carolers, enjoy fireworks, and warm up with fire pits. Hot wine and wassail sales will benefit the Family and Intercultural Resource Center.

6:30pm – 8:00pm
Santa Visits at the Frisco Historic Park in the Gazebo – Santa will visit with children to find out their fondest wishes. Bring your camera for photos.

Santa’s Calling – Sign up online for Santa’s Calling between November 1 and December 1 for a call from Santa. On the evening of Tuesday, December 3, 2024, Santa will be calling all the kids on his list.

8:30am – 10:30am
Breakfast with Santa presented by the Summit County Preschool and The Frisco Flooring Company. This breakfast with the holiday’s favorite big guy will take place at the Old Frisco Community Center located at 110 3rd Avenue in Frisco. Santa will arrive at 9:00am. Enjoy a pancake breakfast, holiday arts and crafts, and a visit and pictures with Santa. Tickets are $10 per child and $20 per adult and benefit the Summit County Preschool. Sponsored by Climax Mine, FirstBank, and Stork & Bear/Around the World Toys

10:30am – 11:00am
Storytime with Reindeer at the Frisco Historic Park & Museum– Join us for our fourth annual free story time sponsored by Next Page Bookstore and the Summit County Library! Come pet Santa’s reindeer and listen to a winter-themed story read by Allison from the Summit County Library. This year’s story is The Snow Thief, written by Alice Hemming and Nicola Slater. Enjoy wassail, hot chocolate, coffee, and Mexican wedding cookies from Butterhorn Bakery, and take home a craft kit from The Frosted Flamingo. Insider tip- the reindeer will stay on site (weather permitting) until Santa is ready to fly home at 1:00pm. Storytime is sponsored by Next Page Bookstore and the Summit County Library.

Carolers on Main Street – Carolers will sing in Frisco Historic Park in the gazebo as well as stroll areas around Frisco Visitor Information Center at 1st Avenue and Main Street with good cheer and holiday music.

The final day of wassailing- Stroll local businesses for the last day of wassailing and turn in your ““12 Sips of Wassail Card” at the Frisco/Copper Visitor Information Center for the 2024 Frisco Wassail Days commemorative mug, while supplies last.
