What is Wassail Days?

Wassail Days is Frisco’s super fun celebration of all things winter and the holidays, celebrated by local businesses offering unique wassail recipes to sample. Wassail Days is also a competition among businesses serving Wassail. Check out the 2024 Wassail Days winners.

What is Wassail?

Wassail is a hot, spiced cider served over the holidays and shared among friends and neighbors.

What do you do during Frisco Wassail Days?

Drink wassail of course! From Saturday, November 29 – Sunday, December 7, 2025, local businesses serve up their own secret version of wassail. Guests are encouraged to taste at least 12 different types of wassail at 12 different locations and fill their “12 Sips of Wassail Card.” Once the “12 Sips” card is filled out, guests can redeem it at the Frisco/Copper Information Center for a commemorative Frisco Wassail Days mug, while supplies last.

The Frisco Historic Park and Museum set up an annual exhibit at the Frisco/Copper Information Center displaying mugs from each year. Stop in anytime during operating hours at the Frisco/Copper Information Center to check out all the mug designs from past years.

2025 Wassail Days Commemorative Mug

Each year the commemorative mug features an iconic Frisco scene. This year’s mug features an original design from Summit County-based artist Erin McCrea, author of the Mountain Mtn. Rangers children’s books. She has been creating and selling a variety artwork for the past 20 years, including but not limited to oil painting, children’s books illustration, medical illustration, and murals. We believe her design this year truly reflects the imagery of winter in Frisco and the celebration of Wassail Days.
