Step Back in Time and Crack the Case at Frisco Historic Park & Museum’s Mystery at the Museum Event

The Frisco Historic Park and Museum, in partnership with Theatre SilCo, will host a free, interactive Mystery at the Museum event, on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 2:00pm-6:00pm at the Frisco Schoolhouse Museum. This immersive, clue-style mystery party will transport participants back to 1910, as they work to solve the case of who escaped from the Summit County jail and courthouse. Guests will piece together the story by interacting with characters, collecting clues, and solving puzzles throughout the Historic Park. Participants who complete the mystery will be entered into a drawing to win prizes from local businesses.

“We’re excited to bring back this unique, hands-on event that connects people to our history in a different way,” said Blair Miller, Frisco Historic Park and Museum Manager. “It’s a chance to explore the stories of Summit County’s past, while also having some fun with friends and family.”

The event is recommended for ages eight and older due to content, implied violence, and puzzle difficulty. Registration is not required for this event, and participants are invited to come anytime from 2:00pm on, but the last group must start the game by 5:30pm.  Participants are also reminded to dress appropriately for the weather, as this event happens in the historic buildings spread throughout the park.

More information about Mystery at the Museum may be found at FriscoHistoricPark.com or by emailing Museum@townoffrisco.com.
