The Town of Frisco will host the 50th annual Run the Rockies Road Races on Saturday, September 20, 2025. Racers will start at Copper Mountain and follow the paved Summit County Recreational Pathway through the Ten Mile Canyon, crossing the finish line on Frisco’s Main Street. The 10k course is 100% downhill, and the half marathon course is 75% downhill. This course will showcase the beautiful fall colors in Frisco. Racers and all other Tenmile/Vail Pass Recpath users should expect, respect, and be aware of all users, and non-racers should anticipate heavy runner traffic through 11:30 am on Saturday, September 20.

Saturday, September 20, 2025, with runners starting near Copper Mountain and ending on Frisco Main Street.
- The half marathon will start at 8:00 am
- The 10k will start at 8:30 am
- There will be no wave starts; all racers will begin at the designated times listed for their race

Registration is open online at RuntheRockies.com. Registration fees include an optional commemorative gift, a finisher item, a well-marked course, stocked aid-stations, professional timing, post-race food, and post-race beer for racers 21+.
10K
- Adult (18+) registration with commemorative race gift – $60
- Adult (18+) registration without commemorative race gift – $45
- Youth (under 18) registration with commemorative race gift – $50
- Youth (under 18) registration without commemorative race gift– $35
Half Marathon
- Adult (18+) registration with commemorative race gift – $80
- Adult (18+) registration without commemorative race gift – $65
- Youth (under 18) registration with commemorative race gift – $70
- Youth (under 18) registration without commemorative race gift – $55
Races will be chip-timed, and Maverick Sports will provide professional timing services. Anyone who would like to walk the race is highly encouraged to register for the 10k to be sure to make the cutoff time of 11:30 am.
Awards will go out to top three overall male and female finishers, as well as male and female age group winners. A post-race party will be held at the Frisco Historic Park to celebrate crossing the finish line and will include music, food and drinks for participants to enjoy.
