Frisco Invites Non-profits to Partner with Town for Athletic Events & Concerts in the Park

The Town of Frisco Recreation and Events Department is offering local non-profit organizations opportunities to raise funds by volunteering for various aspects of the Town’s events.

Athletic Event Partnerships

Recreation event partnerships will require non-profit volunteers to assist with registration and packet pickup or work at a course aid station during athletic events. The Town of Frisco will compensate participating non-profits $100 per station, per hour, with a required minimum of two volunteers for each station or position.

Music Event Partnerships

The Town of Frisco is also seeking nonprofit partnership opportunities for Concerts in the Park, which span 11 weeks on Thursday afternoons starting June 19 through August 28. Non-profits selected for partnership will assist with bar-backing and staffing a zero-waste tent. Each non-profit will be paid $2,000 per concert for their assistance. Additionally, non-profits will be responsible for providing their own prepackaged food and non-alcoholic beverages to sell during the concert and will keep all sales from these items.

Nonprofit Eligibility

In order to be considered eligible to participate, non-profit partners must be a 501 C (3) (6) or (7) in good standing with the IRS, must have a physical address in Summit County, and must be able to recruit volunteers and fulfil the event requirements.

How to Apply

To apply, visit FriscoVolunteer.com to fill out the application. Applications are due by 5:00 pm on Saturday, March 22, 2025 and selected non-profits will be notified of their selection status no later than Friday, April 11, 2025. If there are more applicants than event opportunities, selections will be determined by a random drawing process.
