The Frisco Historic Park and Museum will host a free, interactive Mystery at the Museum event, on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 2:00pm – 6:00pm at the Frisco Schoolhouse Museum. This immersive, clue-style mystery party will transport participants back in time to 1880 to investigate a fatal shooting at a mine in Frisco’s Tenmile Canyon and uncover who was responsible and why they did it. Guests will piece together the story by interacting with characters, collecting clues, and solving puzzles throughout the Historic Park. Participants who complete the mystery will be entered into a drawing to win prizes from local businesses.
“We’re excited to bring back this unique, hands-on event that connects people to our history in a different way,” said Blair Miller, Frisco Historic Park and Museum Manager. “It’s a chance to explore the stories of Summit County’s past, while also having some fun with friends and family.”
This mystery party is recommended for ages eight and older due to content, implied violence, and puzzle difficulty. Registration is not required for this event. Participants may arrive anytime between 2:00pm and 5:30pm, with the final deadline for beginning the game being 5:30pm. Attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather, as the event takes place inside historic buildings located throughout the park. This event is sponsored by Fortunato Properties Real Estate Services.
