Frisco Historic Park & Museum Hosts Celebratory Night at the Museum

On Friday, August 21, 2026 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, the Frisco Historic Park and Museum invites the community to a Night at the Museum to learn about happenings over the past year, celebrating the sesquisemiquincentennial (250th anniversary of the United States and the 150th anniversary of Colorado’s statehood), along with celebrating the 20th anniversary of the museum’s unique train diorama. This will be an free, open-house-style event, with booths set up highlighting local projects from the past year aimed at celebrating Colorado’s anniversary. A talk highlighting the Museum’s summer 2026 museum programming will take place followed by food, drinks, lawn games, and music from Moonstone Quill.

5:00pm – 7:00pm – The Frisco Historic Park and Museum will welcome guests for a special Night at the Museum.

Frisco Historic Park and Museum Information

The Frisco Historic Park and Museum provides the opportunity to travel back in time to experience history in an up-close and personal way right on Frisco’s Main Street. The Museum’s collection of original historic buildings, including the Schoolhouse Museum, contains artifacts, exhibits, and photographs that tell the lively stories of Frisco’s past and reflect the Museum’s philosophy of embracing history while also connecting it to our lives today.

The Historic Park is open from 10:00am – 5:00pm Tuesday – Sunday and is closed on Mondays.
