On Friday, May 23, 2025, the Frisco Bay Marina will kick off summer operations with a variety of paddle sport and powerboat rental options and the opening of the boat ramp for the summer 2025 season. Guests can choose from captained pontoon boat rentals, powerboats, fishing boats, and paddle sports, including kayaks, canoes, and pedal boats. Stand-up paddle board rentals will not be available until later in the season. The Island Grill will also be open daily starting Friday, May 23, from 11:00am to 7:00pm, weather-permitting. The Locals’ Appreciation Program begins on June 2 through June 26, with discounts on powerboat and paddle sport rentals for Summit County residents.
Marina Hours
The Frisco Bay Marina will be open seven days a week from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with extended hours starting on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
Parking
Paid parking at all Frisco Bay Marina lots starts on Friday, May 23, 2025 and continues through Monday, September 1, 2025, seven days a week from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The first 30 minutes are free of charge, but drivers must still use the QR code or payment kiosks at the Frisco Bay Marina to enter their license plate to take advantage of the first 30 minutes of free parking and to pay for any additional time.
Locals’ Appreciation Program
The Frisco Bay Marina is excited for the return of the locals’ appreciation program for Summit County residents and will be offering discounts at the beginning and the end of the season. Discounts on paddle sport and power boat rentals are available Monday through Thursday, June 2-June 26 and September 1-October 9, weather and water dependent.
- 50% off any two-hour paddle sport rental which includes stand up paddle boards, single kayaks, tandem kayaks, canoes, pedal kayaks, or pedal boats.
- 30% off power boat rentals including fishing boats, small pontoons (10 passenger), and large pontoons (13 passenger), excluding all tours.
