The Frisco Bay Marina will be offering discounts to Summit County residents on paddle sport and power boat rentals now through Monday, September 30. This program allows Summit County residents to take advantage of $20 two-hour paddle sport rentals and 30% off all power boat rentals, excluding tours. These discounted rentals are only available day-of, Monday through Thursday until September 30, 2024, and reservations may be made day-of in person at the Frisco Bay Marina Office or by calling 970-668-4334. Proof of residency will be required when checking in for your rental in order to receive the discounted rate.
Locals’ Appreciation Program Details
The Frisco Bay Marina is excited for the return of the locals’ appreciation program for Summit County residents. Discounts on paddle sport and power boat rentals are available Monday through Thursday, weather and water dependent, until September 30.
- Day-of- $20 for any two-hour paddle sport rental which includes stand up paddle boards, single kayaks, tandem kayaks, canoes, pedal kayaks, or pedal boats.
- Day-of- 30% off power boat rentals including fishing boats, small pontoons (10 passenger), and large pontoons (13 passenger), excluding all tours.
To make a reservation, show proof of residency when checking in for your rental, which may include a driver’s license, utility bill, or pay stub with a local address.

Located on the shores of Dillon Reservoir at the eastern end of Frisco Main Street, the Frisco Bay Marina is where lake life meets quintessential mountain town. At just over 9,000 feet in elevation, this certified clean marina is an ideal access point to Dillon Reservoir. The Frisco Bay Marina rents pontoon and fishing boats, kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddle boards, and fishing poles from late May through mid-October. The Marina also boasts a 400-foot sandy beach, sailing lessons, kayak and boat tours, a water taxi service between Frisco and Dillon, a rowing club, and dining at the Island Grill.
