Frisco’s Fabulous Fourth of July celebration kicked off with a fishing derby and a parade down Main Street. The festivities continued into the afternoon with live music from the Frisco Funk Collective and The Motet at the 1st Avenue stage.

The free Frisco July 4^th Fishing Derby attracted 75 youth anglers to the Meadow Creek Pond for one hour of fishing hosted by the Town of Frisco. Colorado Parks and Wildlife stocked the pond for the Derby, and prizes were provided by the Frisco Bay Marina and Town of Frisco.

1^st Place- Van Johnson of Denver, CO

2^nd Place- Bo Brown of Windsor, CO         

3^rd Place- Weston Sherrill of Houston, TX

4^th Place Tie- Grayson Wessel of Washington, DC and Hunt Knox of Denver, CO

The Frisco July 4th parade saw over 70 parade entries alongside a festive decorated bike parade for kids. Kicked off by the dedicated emergency services teams of Frisco and Summit County, the parade moved down Main Street from Madison Avenue to 6th Avenue, with generous hauls of candy for the crowd. 

The top three parade floats were judged on three criteria: craftsmanship, artful whimsy, and most importantly, crowd appeal.

2026 Frisco Parade Winners:

1^st Place- Bill Robinson & The Frisco Cabin Team created an artfully designed float celebrating 250 years of freedom in the USA and 150 years of the good life in Colorado.

2^nd Place- Vine Street Social presented “Bikes & Bubbles” a sparkling celebration of mountain living, community, and good times.

3^rd Place- Golden Horseshoe Sleigh Rides brought their Belgian draft horse team Buzz and Woody who pulled a fancy wagon for the legendary dancehall girl Diamond Dixie with Golden Horseshoe Sleigh Rides and dinner theater.

Parade winners may pick up their prizes at Frisco Town Hall starting on Monday, July 13.

The Town of Frisco offers a special thank you to all parade participants for taking time out of their holiday to decorate and participate in the parade.
