Free Easter Egg Hunt on Frisco Main Street at Noon on April 5, 2026

The Easter Bunny will return to Frisco Main Street on Sunday, April 5, 2026, hiding approximately 5,000 Easter eggs. Beginning at noon, children, aged 0-8, are invited to hunt for eggs throughout the Frisco Historic Park and the Frisco Town Hall areas. The Easter Bunny will visit with children before and after the egg hunt on Main Street, and guests are encouraged to bring cameras for selfies with the fluffy guy.

Easter Egg Hunt Areas by Age

The hunt will be divided into three areas and age groups on Main Street between Madison and 2nd Avenues:

  • Children, 3 years old and younger, will hunt for eggs around the Frisco Town Hall lawn and are invited to gather near Town Hall at the intersection of Main Street and 1st Avenue in anticipation of the 12:00pm egg hunt start
  • Children, aged 4-5, will search for eggs on the gazebo lawn at the Frisco Historic Park and should line up in front of the Historic Park on Main Street prior to prepare for the start.
  • Children, aged 6-8, will forage for eggs on the upper lawn of the Historic Park and should also line up in front of the Historic Park on Main Street prior to their egg search.

The historic schoolhouse bell will toll at noon to signal the start of the egg hunt. This event is free to all children.

5,000 Eggs and Eight Eggs Maximum per Child

The Easter Bunny expects 500+ participants and requests that parents/guardians highlight the benefits of sharing and kindness during this event by emphasizing that each child should stick with the goal of gathering no more than eight eggs. The Easter Bunny’s eggs are made in the United States, and the Town of Frisco provides egg collection onsite after the egg hunt so eggs can be stuffed and reused next year.

Main Street Closure

Frisco Main Street from Madison Avenue to 2nd Avenue will be closed to traffic from 11:00am – 1:00pm on Sunday, April 5, 2026 for this event. The Frisco Police Department will be closely monitoring this closure for the safety of the children who will be collecting eggs, and they encourage motorists to anticipate a detour during the closure. The egg hunt will start promptly at noon and will end when all the eggs are found, allowing the street to reopen by approximately 1:00pm.
