2026 Frisco Non-Profit Event Opportunities

The Town of Frisco is offering local non-profit organizations opportunities to participate in community events through fundraising, outreach, and engagement initiatives throughout the 2026 summer season.

Each year, the Town partners with local non-profits to support events, while helping organizations connect with the community. Opportunities for 2026 include athletic event partnerships, outreach opportunities at Concerts in the Park, and a special July 4th event partnership.

Application Deadline and How to Apply

  • Applications are now open and must be submitted by April 27, 2026 at 5:00pm.
  • To apply, complete the online application below.
  • Selected non-profits will be notified by May 4, 2026.
  • All complete and eligible applications will be entered into a random drawing to determine which organization will be selected for each opportunity.  

Non-Profit Eligibility

To be eligible, organizations must be a 501(c)(3), (6), or (7) in good standing with the IRS, have a physical address in Summit County, and be able to provide sufficient volunteers and meet event requirements.

Athletic Event Partnerships

Non-profit volunteers will assist with registration, packet pickup, or staffing course aid stations during athletic events. The Town of Frisco will pay participating non-profits $1,000 for eight to ten volunteers working a minimum of three hours each.

2026 Athletic Event Dates

Changes for 2026- Concerts in the Park

Concerts in the Park will take place weekly on Thursdays from June 25 through August 27, 2026, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Frisco Historic Park gazebo.

New this year- Concerts in the Park will no longer be paid opportunities, and instead, these nonprofit partnerships will provide meaningful brand promotion and increased community visibility opportunities for selected non-profits. This will be a great chance to connect directly with attendees, share the nonprofit’s mission, and increase awareness of the important work that non-profits do in the community.

  • Non-profits will be invited to concert dates that match both their mission and the weekly theme. For example, a non-profit that has initiatives around environment and sustainability would be invited to the Concert in the Park when non-profits that focus on the environment and sustainability are being highlighted.
  • Non-profits are still able to ask for donations.
  • Concert in the Park attendees include a lot of familiar local faces, as well as visitors interested in our vibrant community.

Why the change?

This change is being made due to current liquor license requirements, which constrain the storage and sale of liquor in such a way that it creates logistical challenges and financial risks for non-profits during this 10-concert series and which the Town has determined are not in the best interests of non-profits. For the past few years, the Town has paid a flat fee to non-profits for their participation, even though they were not responsible for liquor sales, to make this transition to just outreach opportunities gradual.

July 4th Liquor Sales Opportunity

The Town is seeking a non-profit partner to manage beverage sales during the July 4th concert on Main Street from 4 pm to 7 pm.

  • Responsibilities include securing a special event liquor license by June 4, 2026, purchasing and storing alcoholic beverages, and providing 10-12 volunteers and point-of-sale systems.
  • The Town can assist with vendor contacts, supply estimates, and local brewery connections.
  • The July 4th band will be announced in mid-April.
