Overview

Summit School District is located in the mountains of Summit County, Colorado. The towns and communities of the school district include Dillon, Silverthorne, Keystone, Montezuma, Frisco, Breckenridge, Summit Cove and Copper Mountain.  Approximately 2700 students attend our schools and 300 people are employed in the Summit School District.

Summit School District students, staff and community members work together in an atmosphere of care and respect to offer each student an array of educational programs designed to meet his/her unique academic, vocational, and personal developmental needs.

We engage each student every day in intellectually rigorous, meaningful learning to give students the resources necessary to prepare them to achieve their greatest potential and to meet the challenges of the future. We model, expect and nurture excellence to foster life-long learners and responsible citizens.
