FRISCO NAMES FOURTH OF JULY WINNERS

Thursday’s Fourth of July celebration was filled with activity.  The fabulous parade saw 65 floats and 325 kids participate in the bike parade.  The parade kicked off with the Frisco Police sounding off and continued alongMain Street toSixth Avenue with some of the largest candy hauls most kids have ever seen.  To follow are the 2013 Frisco Parade winners.

 

Frisco Parade Winners:

Best of Parade (Money and Trophy)

Ftisco Family and Friends, sponsored by Bill Robison they come together from all over the country to make new memories and celebrate the firefighters who work tirelessly to save our mountain paradise.

 

Business Category Winners (Trophies)

1ST place – Wilderness Sports

2ND place –  Colorado Angler

3rd place – Neils Lunceford and the Rocky Mountain Queens

 

Vehicle Category Winners (Trophies)

1st place – 1930 Roadster

2nd place – 1941 Ford, Owner Bert and Anne Del Villano

3rd place -  Specialized Truck and SUV

 

Animals Category Winners (Trophies)

2nd Place – Saddle Pals

3rd Place – Mountain Man – Bill Lee

 

Non- Profit Category Winners (Money and Trophies)

1st Place – $100.00 – Keystone Science School

2nd Place – $50.00 – Summit Nordic Ski Club

3rd Place – Trophy – Domus Pacis Family Respite

 

Children Category Winners (Money and Trophies)

1st Place – $100.00 – Summit County Middle School Band l

Other fun facts: 71 floats in Frisco’s parade for 7 blocks through an estimated 25,000 person attendance.
