Water Bill
In order to comply with State mandates and to reduce water waste, the Town of Frisco uses a metered water billing system. Meters are installed in all Frisco properties and are required in any new construction.
The quarterly base rate of $30.90 (18,000 gallons per single family residence) will be billed in arrears (actual use). Consumption in excess of the 18,000 gallons will be reflected as an additional amount added to the $30.90 base rate according to the following calculation guide.
How It Works:
18,000 Gallons or less: $31.83 per quarter
18,001 - 35,000 Gallons: $2.66 per 1,000 gallons
Over 35,000 Gallons: $3.72 per 1,000 gallons
For example, if you use 24,000 gallons of water in a quarter, it will cost you the $31.83 base rate for the first 18,000 gallons plus $2.66 for each additional 1,000 gallons. 6 (1,000) x $2.66 = $15.96, then add the base rate of $31.83. The total is $47.79.
Pay Your Water Bill with Direct Pay!
If you choose to elect the Direct Pay Water Billing option, you will need to complete an Enrollment/Change Form and attach a voided check. After the information is entered into the water billing system, a pre-notification will be sent to the bank you have specified. Account information will be verified in advance of the billing cycle. Please allow four weeks processing time prior to the next billing cycle for your direct pay account to be set up.
At the end of the quarter, Direct Pay customers will receive a bill in the mail that will look much like the regular water bill. These bills are generally mailed the first week of the month following the end of the quarter (January, April, July and October). The bill will indicate "Direct Pay - DO NOT PAY". The meter reading, gallons used, and the amount due will appear on this statement. Unless we receive notification from you, the Town of Frisco will automatically withdraw the balance due from your bank account on the last day of the same month. This will give customers plenty of time to call with any questions they might have.
Should you need to change the account information for your Direct Pay Water Billing, you may do so by completing another Enrollment/Change Form and following the same process. Please be sure to allow four weeks processing time prior to the next billing cycle for account changes to me made.
