Musical Act: Goldpine
Local Non-Profit Beneficiary: Summit Musicians Relief Fund

Exposing the pains of severed relationships and unearthing the pursuits of love and purpose, Goldpine is emotional and relevant. After nearly a decade of homing in on their sound, they’re ready to show the world their self-produced LP, ‘One.’ Their debut album is a snapshot of their lives — symbolizing a new beginning and an homage to their previous band name “My One and Only,” featuring bold vocal harmonies and fervent lyrics. ‘One’ is the perfect introduction to Goldpine.

Local Non-Profit Beneficiary: Family & Intercultural Resource Center (FIRC)

Lord Nelson is a Charlottesville, Virginia based rock/Americana band whose unique sound emulates their Virginia roots. The past year Lord Nelson released their third full length album, “Transmission” to strong press and reviews. Thanks to radio play across the country, it cracked the Billboard Americana Top 100, and the band toured nationally to share their songs on the road. Their record is rowdy, rock-forward, and intended to bring people together; dance, sing in the car, hum under your breath, crank up the stereo, and don’t take life too seriously for a few minutes. The band is currently finishing their new album scheduled to be released in 2023 and will be touring nationally again this summer, including a string of Colorado dates.

Musical Act: Extra Gold
Local Non-Profit Beneficiary: Northwest Colorado Center for Independence (NWCCI)

Dave Jordan & The NIA were originally scheduled for the July 20, 2023 Concert in the Park, but have cancelled due to medical reasons.

Extra Gold will now be the musical act. Since forming in 2017 as the house band for Denver’s only monthly country music showcase, Extra Gold has crafted a country music cocktail that is equal parts Golden-Era Country Revival, Folk, and Rock & Roll.

With the addition of Hammond B3 organ, pedal steel and fiddle, the band plays every card. They waltz through tender three-part harmony ballads before inciting two-steppin’, beer-slingin’ dance parties that have placed them in venues with modern-day honky-tonk heroes like Whitey Morgan and Jesse Dayton, as well as soon-to-be household names like Paul Cauthen and Zephaniah Ohora.

Fronted by Kansas City native Evan Holm, Extra Gold released their acclaimed debut record “High & Lonesome” in 2018 and released the single “What It’s Like” in 2020. They are back in the studio recording their much anticipated follow up LP to be released in 2023 and are bound to take the festival circuit by storm.

Musical Act: Lola Rising
Local Non-Profit Beneficiary: Summit County Arts Council

Hailing from Colorado, Lola Rising is a six-piece island folk rock band also known as “Jahawaiian” that is ukulele driven with high energy melodic dance rhythms and soaring guitars. The band was inspired by a song that front man, Paul Medina Guevara, once wrote about the passing of his Lola, which means Grandmother in Filipino. This was then coupled with Rising, which evokes images of spirituality and embraces the human condition. Their dance-able rhythms, honest poetry, and smooth melodic multi-part harmonies make their music familiar, fun, accessible, vivid, and thought-provoking.

Musical Act: The Barlow
Local Non-Profit Beneficiary: Mountain Dreamers

If you’ve heard of Texas country and Oklahoma red dirt, then there’s no doubt that you’re also familiar with outlaw country and southern rock. Now take all those Americana music styles and change the scenery. How about Colorado? That’s exactly where you’ll find The Barlow, a rugged, four-piece band brewing its own mountain-high version of Colorado country. One listen to The Barlow’s third full-length album “New Year, Old Me”, and you hear a fresh spin on a familiar sawdust-floor friend. Consider this album a giant, boot-print step toward solidifying their sound. These four guys have no desire to blend into the background. They have something to say.

Embracing an array of moods and styles from jam band-rootsy to swampy bayou blues and acoustic funk, each song is like a new chapter in the root’s music playbook. Their smooth and haunting vocals with a rough and poetic delivery are filled with a series of multi-layered grooves that make every song a different experience.
