BUILDING INSPECTOR

Performs variety of building inspections to evaluate the construction or alteration of new and existing buildings and structures for conformance with applicable structural, mechanical, plumbing codes and ordinances. Assists with plan reviews and record keeping.
Minimum of one of following ICC certifications, or ability to obtain within six months of hire: Building, Plumbing or Mechanical Inspector. All three certifications with Plan Review are preferred. Minimum of three to five years relevant experience. Basic personal computer and word processing experience. Requires lifting, bending, walking, climbing and working outdoors in inclement weather. Valid Colorado Driver’s License required. Hiring Salary DOQ. Position is open until filled.

MAINTENANCE OPERATOR

The Town of Frisco is seeking an experienced, self-motivated individual for a full time position of Maintenance Operator. The position performs a variety of duties involved in the daily operations of the Public Works Department, including streets, buildings and parks maintenance. Three (3) years experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
A valid Colorado driver’s license with an excellent driving record is required. A Colorado Class “B” CDL is required within three months of hire. Hiring salary range is $34,260 to $37,686 per year DOQ. Job is open until filled.

POLICE OFFICER

This team oriented position is responsible for enforcement of criminal and traffic laws, preventing and deterring criminal activity, and providing day to day services to the public. Shift work is required. Qualifications include POST certification, a valid Colorado driver’s license, and clear criminal history. Hiring process includes oral assesment, polygraph, psychological and medical exams. Starting salary range is $45,205 to $49,726 DOQ. Open until filled.
